Modern wedding films are beautiful and we never watch them. Our parents' camcorder tapes are grainy and we've seen them a hundred times. We thought a lot about why. Then we started VH-Yes.

We bought five used vintage camcorders from the 2005–2012 era. Each one tested, cleaned, and fitted with a fresh battery before it ships.
The slight grain, the warm cast, the way the lens flares when light hits a champagne glass. That's twenty-year-old optics. You can't shortcut it. The sensor blows out bright windows. That overexposure is not a flaw — it's what light at 4pm through a marquee looks like in memory.
We keep an extra as a spare. If a camera fails in the field, we ship a replacement same-day.
One studio. Wherever you are.
Every kit ships from a single studio via DHL Express. Round-trip shipping is included in the price, basic insurance with it.
We currently ship to the UK, the EU (France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Netherlands), Australia, and the US, with a handful of other countries served on request. If your country isn't on that list, send an enquiry — we've added new ones for one couple before.
Once any single country crosses fifty bookings a month, we'll set up a local kit warehouse there. We're not there yet. We'd like to be.
